Galloway decision aids access to Office of Administrative Law case log

The New Jersey Supreme Court’s 6/20/2017 decision in John Paff v. Galloway Township — establishing that information in an electronic database is a public record — helped to pave the way for release of an OAL case list that is not available online anywhere. Paff offers useful guidance on how to learn more about a case before the Office of Administrative Law (OAL), which oversees matters of significant public interest.
