Court to decide on disclosure of additional names linked to Bridgegate

UPDATE (6/7/16):  On June 6, 2016, a federal appeals court heard arguments for and against release of the list of unindicted co-conspirators in the Bridgegate case. Last month the judge overseeing the case ruled that the list should be made public.

UPDATE (5/18/16):  The list of unindicted co-conspirators in the Bridgegate scandal remains under seal until at least June 6, 2016, when a hearing is scheduled to be held before the Third Circuit Court of Appeals in Philadelphia. In theory, Maryanne Trump Barry, Donald Trump’s sister, could sit on the panel of judges that decides whether the list will be released. If chosen, she would likely recuse, however.

In a win for media outlets that have sought the information, a U.S. District Court Judge has ordered the prosecution in the Bridgegate case to disclose the names of persons involved in the alleged conspiracy to close the GWB access lanes in 2013. The list is believed to include people who knew but failed to report it to authorities.
