Gannett Media v. Raritan Borough litigation has finally come to a close after six years. The Borough has agreed to reimburse $650K in legal fees incurred by the news outlet. The case stemmed from Gannett’s request for payroll records in a searchable electronic format, which they were told wasn’t readily available and for which a fee of $1,100 was assessed. -NJFOG
