John Paff to Speak at Open Government Conference in Washington State

The New Jersey Foundation for Open Government (NJFOG) is pleased to announce that NJFOG trustee and 2014 open government hall of fame award winner John Paff has been invited to be the keynote speaker for the March 14, 2015 Washington Statewide Open Government Conference hosted by the Washington Coalition for Open Government.  While freedom of information laws vary slightly from state to state, the hurdles often encountered in obtaining public records are a common thread.  Paff’s work and success at gaining access to public records have earned him recognition here in New Jersey and the title “New Jersey’s busiest open government activist” by reporter Colleen O’Dea.  We are delighted that John will be sharing his broad knowledge with open government advocates in Washington State to help promote governmental transparency nationwide.
